The Zoo is open for Wildlife Walk, a socially distant Zoo experience.

All tickets must be purchased in advance. Learn more about Wildlife Walk here.

The Zoo is open Sunday - Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

The Zoo is closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.

Field Trips and Group Admission Prices

Bring your group of 12 or more to the Zoo for a day full of exploration, learning, and fun. Reserve your date below. There is no fee to reserve a date. Payment is due day of the field trip.

Zoo Gift Cards

Zoo Gift Cards can be purchased for admission, memberships, Zoo Camps, train rides and more! Gift cards may be purchased by calling 402.475.6741 ext. 0 or at the Zoo's gift shop.


Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Zoo have a cafe?
Safari Cafe and Cafe 65 are open daily and offers a variety of meals and snacks. Choose from signature grilled items, gourmet sandwiches or breaded chicken strips and grab a delicious ice cream cone for dessert! Some gluten friendly options available. Safari Cafe is open seasonally and may be closed due to weather. Cafe 65 is indoor and open year-round.

Is outside food and beverage allowed in the Zoo?
Guests are allowed to bring food items such as snacks or foods that do not require heating. Coolers must be smaller than a personal handbag. Coolers larger than personal handbags are not allowed.

Are there opportunities to feed the animals?
Food for certain animals can be purchased. Please do not feed any animal "people food."

Can strollers be rented?
Strollers are available to rent for $5.

Are wheelchairs available?
Wheelchairs are available to rent for $5.

What times are train and horse rides?
Train and horse rides are available anytime the Zoo is open.
