Sensory Safari

October 4 • 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Visually and sensory impaired guests will have the opportunity to touch, feel, hear, and smell at interpretative stations located throughout the Zoo. Nature experts from organizations across Nebraska will engage visitors at each station. Sensory Safari is a partnership with the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, Mary F. Tous Charitable Foundation and Nebraska Center for the Education of Children who are Blind or Visually Imparied.

Bus Drop Off & Parking Information

  • Bus load/unload zone is located outside the main parking lot. 
  • The reach the load/unload zone, head west on A Street, following the red arrows.
  • Load/unload zone will be on your right, at the red circle.
  • Once unloaded, bus parking is located in Antelope Park. Please continue west on A Street, turn north on 27th Street, make another right on Capitol Parkway, then another right onto A Street again. You will then make the first left into Antelope Park.
