Boo at the Zoo Returns This Fall
Get ready! Boo at the Zoo is just around the corner from October 23-27.
Boo at the Zoo is Lincoln's largest trick-or-treat event. The entire family will love stopping at trick-or-treat booths to get candy, coupons, and more. All of the money raised during Boo at the Zoo directly supports the Zoo and its animals.

Who needs a ticket to Boo at the Zoo?
• Everyone ages 2 and up will need a ticket to attend Boo at the Zoo.
Can I purchase tickets when I arrive at Boo at the Zoo?
• No, all tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets will not be available at the entrance gates during the event.
My ticket says 5:30pm or 12:30pm, can I come anytime that day?
• Yes, general admission tickets are valid anytime between 5:30 - 8:00pm on Oct. 23, 24, 26, & 27 or between 12:30 - 3:00pm on Sunday, Oct. 25. Typically, things tend to slow down later in the evening, so if you want to avoid lines, later in the evening is the best way to do so.
Do adults need tickets if only the kids are collecting candy?
• Yes, everyone ages 2 and up will need admission tickets to enter Boo at the Zoo. Only those that want to collect candy need to purchase treat bags in addition to admission.
If we arrive at 8:00 p.m. will we still have time to see everything?
• Yes, the admission gates will close at 8:00pm but the trick-or-treat booths will stay open until the last guest has passed their booth.
We are Zoo Members, can we just show our membership card instead of buying tickets?
• No, Zoo Members still need to reserve tickets in advance.
Do Omaha Zoo members receive a discount on Boo at the Zoo tickets?
• No, members of other AZA accredited zoos, including the Omaha Zoo, do not receive a discount on Boo at the Zoo tickets.
