Things with Wings
Flying is cool. Birds, bats, and butterflies think so too. Make friends with the Zoo’s flying friends and get to know all about them. Take a closer look at bats, penguins, African crowned cranes, storks, and butterflies.

Down Under
Adventure through the Outback and learn about the animals of Australia. Campers will hop along with wallabies, get close to the tree kangaroo, and get to know the frilled lizard.

Penguin Plunge
Get to know the zoo’s famous feathered friends up close and personal. Stand on the penguin deck, see how they are fed, find out what they do for fun, and see where they live in the winter.

Critter Keepers
What do zoo keepers do on a daily basis? Get a behind the scenes look at zoo operations. Campers will feed and care for animals, complete daily health checks, and much more during this in-depth experience.

Wild West Wrangler Camp
Saddle up for one wild week at Lincoln Children’s Zoo. Campers will mosey on over to the corral where they will brush, feed, saddle, walk, and even ride some the best horses in these here parts. Lil’ Buckaroos might even take a gander at some camels, reindeer, goats, and llamas. Yee-haw we’ll see y’all there.

Wet n' Wild Animals
Water is good for animals to drink, play in, and live in. Campers will find out all about the zoo’s wet friends including the penguin, flamingos, turtles, crocodiles, and otters.

Animal Planet
Animals come from all over the world. See what different creatures from around the world look like and how they eat, sleep, and play. Campers will take a closer look at the red panda from China, Australian frilled lizard, and southern banded armadillo from South America.

Care of Magical Creatures
Embark on a magical week at the Zoo. Campers will see how some of the zoo’s not-so-ordinary animals are similar to many creatures from their favorite books and movies. The week will end with each camper creating their very own book of magical creatures.
