Penguins have Happy Feet
Go behind the scenes to see why the Zoo’s penguins are the happiest birds around. What do they eat? What do they do for fun? Where do they live? Campers will learn the answers to these questions and more.

The Great Disappearing Act
Discover how animals can change the color of their skin to blend in with their surroundings and disappear. Campers will hold and interact with some the zoo’s color-changing creatures and see firsthand how they blend in.

The Zoo’s lemurs are from the island of Madagascar. Campers will learn all about the island and its most famous residents by seeing what they eat, and what they do for fun.

Animal Super Powers
What is faster than a speeding mosquito? Can see twice as far as a human? Crawl to the top of a tall tree in just seconds? It is the amazing animals of the Lincoln Children’s Zoo. Campers will learn that what is normal for animals may look like super powers to humans.

It’s amazing how important animal tails are! Get up close with squirrel monkeys, pygmy marmosets, and flying squirrels to learn what and how their tails are used.
