    Explore the Zoo’s farm and its animals.

    Playful Penguins & Friends
    June 22 - 26
    Learn all about the Zoo’s warm water penguins from Peru. Interact with the penguin keepers, create fun crafts, and learn new songs.

    Flamingos can drink salty water, penguins can swim different directions using their feet and otters can hold their breath for 8 minutes! Go behind the scenes to get a good look at the Zoo’s flamingos, penguins and other water buddies.

    Animal Super Powers

    What is faster than a speeding mosquito? Can see twice as far as a human? Crawl to the top of a tall tree in just seconds? All of the amazing animals of the Lincoln Children’s Zoo.

    The Zoo is home to some speedy animals! Find out how the penguins swim so fast, the pygmy marmosets zip around and the gibbons quickly swing from branch to branch.

    Join our team of Wildlife Rescuers here at the Zoo! Each day campers will learn how animals are saved in the wild and get to meet some of the Zoo’s rescued animals, including Apollo the bobcat, Liv the wallaby and Calvin the alligator.

    June 22 - 26
    How do the ring-tailed lemurs and penguins know when it’s time to eat? Learn how zookeepers teach behaviors to animals to aid with husbandry.
