  • 3 – 4 Year Olds + Parents

    Morning: 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.

    Wake Up the Train
    June 5 – 9
    The train needs help to start chugging along in the morning. Discover where the train sleeps at night, how it works and what animals can be seen while riding it.

    Barnyard Buddies
    June 12 – 16
    Head over to the Zoo's barn and explore which animals call it home. Meet the goats, horses, rabbits and more! Learn what each animal eats and how they are cared for.

    Playful Penguins & Friends
    June 19 – 23
    Learn all about the Zoo’s warm water penguins from Peru. Interact with the penguin keepers, create fun crafts and learn new songs.

    NEW! Sense-ational Animals
    June 26 – 30
    Animals have amazing senses! Dive in and learn about how some animals have extraordinary hearing, incredible sight or unbelievable smell!

    NEW! Animal Architects
    June 5 – 9
    The largest eagle nest ever built is over 9 feet in diameter, a dam in Canada constructed by beavers can be seen from space and gophers have been known to engineer underground towns that can hold over 1,000 of their friends! Get ready to build, construct and engineer like nature’s finest animal architects in this amazing camp!

    Wild West Wrangler

    Mosey on over to the corral to brush, feed, saddle, walk and even ride the Zoo’s horses.

    Why does the leopard have spots? Why are the macaws bright and colorful? Learn how cool patterns and colors help animals hide in the wild.

    Some of the Zoo’s most exciting animals have claws, paws and jaws! Discover what they use them for and how they help them live in the wild.

    Animal Outlaws

    Leopards, snakes and crocodiles might seem scary but in this camp discover the softer, kinder side of these “outlaws.”

    Catch Me If You Can

    African servals can run up to 50 mph, red pandas are experts at climbing tall trees and Humboldt penguins are super speedy under water! Discover each animal’s special talents and how they use them in the wild.

    Go Wild!

    Help take care of the Zoo’s animals! Jr. Vet Explorers are taught basic veterinarian techniques from making healthy diets to performing health checks.

Get ready to build, construct and engineer like nature’s finest animal architects in this amazing camp!

    Jr. Zoo Crew is designed for children to sample Zoo Crew in a camp setting. Jr. Zoo Crew members will complete many of the same tasks as Zoo Crew, including assisting in husbandry of animals.

    Jr. Zoologist
    June 19 – 23
    Zoologists are scientists who are animal experts! Campers will design habitats, create animal enrichment and track behavior of some of the Zoo’s most exciting animals.
