Birthday Parties

The Crooked House will be available for one hour at your scheduled party time but, you and your guests may enjoy the zoo for the entire day!  (during normal zoo hours)

Non-members who wish to have a birthday party must also pay admission fees for each guest. Become a Zoo member today and receive free admission for up to 12 of your party guests.

Your party will be held for one hour in the Crooked House. Due to fire code regulations the Crooked House has a maximum capacity of 16 people. For the safety of our animals no candles, balloons, or Pinatas are allowed.

Parties are available at 10:30am, 12:00pm, 1:30pm, and 3:00pm daily. Ask about later party times for Wednesday nights June thru August.

The Birthday group is entitled to 10% discount on all additional purchases at the Safari Cafe the day of your party. Call ahead to order and have lunch served during your party.

Discounted train and pony tickets available for birthday group!

A $20 non-refundable deposit must be submitted to secure your date and party time. Deposit will be applied to your final bill. In the event of cancellation and/or reschedule: party must be canceled within 1 hour prior to start to receive deposit credit toward new re-scheduled time. Parties go on as planned in the event of rain, if you wish to reschedule (and to retain your deposit credit) you must call in to do so one hour prior to start time by contacting the Zoo at 475-1623. If you're calling during the weekend please press extension 147 to speak to the Safari Cafe who prepares your party. All no call/no-shows forfeit deposit.

Animal Adoption Birthday Party

For an additional $55 you can include an Animal Adoption 

Your party will include:

• Everything included in a traditional Birthday Party
• Plus your guests will receive a special 15 minute visit with the adopted animal and a zookeeper. (Good for up to 12 people.)

The Birthday Child will receive:

• A personalized adoption certificate
• a bill-fold sized identification card
• a thank you letter signed by the Executive Director of the Zoo
• name listed on the Adoption Recognition Board in ZooVille Zoo ville for one year
• their animal will receive nutritious and loving and loving care all year long
• McDonald's food coupons good for 1 year

Available Birthday Party Adoption Animals are:

Saturday Parties - Naked Mole Rats, Reindeer, Red-tailed Boa, Bearded Dragon, Macaws, Aviary Birds, Tortoises, Turtles, and Camels

Sunday Parties - Naked Mole Rats, Reindeer, Camels, Bearded Dragon, Macaws, Aviary Birds, Tortoises and Sloth
